Who provides each service

Futura provides the software on participating machines. Regulated services are performed by third-party providers:

  • Money transfers: PAGOTRONIC LLC, a licensed money transmitter.
  • Cash-in and wallet: ESSENTIAL FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS CORP. DBA ESSENTIAL MONEY TRANSFERS & ATRIUM PAY.
  • Gift cards: XOXO PLUM.

Questions, answered

Does Futura own the machines?

No. Futura is a software provider. The ATMs and kiosks are owned and operated by our partners (retailers, operators and financial institutions) and run on the Futura platform.

What do I need to sign up?

A mobile phone number, a valid government-issued ID and an email. We text you a secure link to verify with a photo of the ID and a quick selfie. Then, at any Futura machine, you enter the same number, type the 6-digit code we text you and confirm your address.

How much does it cost?

Fees vary by service and location, and they are always shown on screen before you confirm any transaction.

Is my information safe?

Your identity is verified once, and each visit is confirmed with a code sent to your phone. Futura never asks for your PIN, passwords or full card number online. Money transfers are provided by PAGOTRONIC LLC, a licensed money transmitter. Cash-in and wallet services are provided by ESSENTIAL FINANCIAL INVESTMENTS CORP. What is Futura store credit?

When a machine owes you cents in change, they can be saved as store credit on your phone number. Use the store credit option to receive your balance by text, and redeem it at any Futura machine.

Is the site and chat available in Spanish?

Yes. Our chat answers in English, Spanish and other languages. Use the EN/ES button in the menu, or open the chat from the button at the bottom right.
